Study with eduSpain PDF Brochure

First, choose your destination, dates and program. If you choose a short term program such as a Spanish language, Spanish culture and language or Hispanic Studies one with academic credit but not leading to an official Spanish undergraduate or graduate degree, you may apply 2 or 3 months before the beginning of classes. However, if you choose to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in a Spanish university, you must start the application process at least 6 months before the beginning of classes.

Think about how you are going to finance your studies. Ask your university administration or local authorities about any financial aid available for studying abroad.

Make sure you have a valid passport.

If you cannot decide which program to choose, an eduSpain advisor will help you select the ones most suited to your needs and will explain the academic requirements for admission, course offerings, cost, calendar, etc.

Once you have selected a program, and are ready to begin the formal application process, you will be asked to pay a management fee to eduSpain corresponding to the program of your choice and your country of origin. Your eduSpain adviser will guide you through the whole process including the following steps:

  • Preparing the appropriate official documentation of your academic history.
  • Registering for any required exams including language tests.
  • Requesting a student visa from the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country for the duration of your studies.
  • Making travel and housing arrangements.

Some programs will require an application fee. Of course, the authorities in the program will make the final decision as to your admittance, but you will be assisted all throughout the process by eduSpain.

Once admittted you will be required to pay tuition fees within a certain deadline. Again, your eduSpain adviser will explain the process to you.

Finally, we will help you with any services that you may require from eduSpain once you arrive in Spain with services such as airport pick-up, cultural orientation, housing…
